The concept for the new addition to the Hillcrest Medicross, the [Skin Aesthetics] Clinic is ‘Reconstruct’. This concept conveys the nature of breaking down and rebuilding in order to create something new. This ties in with the nature of the clinic as it focusses on cosmetic dermatology. Procedures such as chemical peels, wrinkle fillers, microdermabrasion and laser resurfacing are performed to correct imperfections. Raw building materials and our skin can both be seen as facades, linking the concept to the practice.
